Also on board were Louisa's father James, aged 39 and his other two children, John, 14, and Martha, 8. James' occupation is in the Immigration index (reels 2136, 2461) shown as farm labourer. The index show that they lived in Latton, Wiltshire. We assume that Louisa's mother, Rachel, had died in England and her death prompted the emigration to Australia. Kesby, Senr.We have also to record the death of Mrs. Louisa Kesby, wife of Mr. George Kesby, senr. of Corangula, which occurred early on Monday last. The deceased lady retired to rest apparently in the best of health and spirits on Sunday night, and a little after midnight complained of a feeling of palpita tion of the heart. Her daughter proceeded to get a cup of tea, but on arriving at the bedside with it Mrs. Kesby was found to have passed peacefully away. She was born in England, and was about 70 years of age, the immediate cause of death being heart failure. Mrs Kesby leaves a family of six sonBrJohn, William, Walter, George, Henry and Edward, and two daughters, Martha and Rachel. The funeral took place on Tuesday at West Kempsey Cemetery, the Rev.
